Follow these steps to access your Aetna Student Health ID Card:

1. Click here to go to the Get Your ID Card link
2. Type in your Student ID, Date of Birth, and Email
   • Note: The data you enter must match what your school has provided to Aetna, otherwise you will receive an error message. If you experience issues authenticating and/or would like to verify the demographic information in Aetna’s system, please contact Aetna Customer Service at 1 (877) 480-4161.
3. Available ID cards will display once you hit submit. Select the ID card you would like to receive and then click Send Email.
   • Note: If you’d like to receive your ID card at an email address other than the email on file with Aetna, please select Edit and you will be prompted to enter an alternative email address.
4. You will receive a secure Mimecast email with a PDF of your ID card attached. Click here for information on how to access the Mimecast secure messaging portal.

Students enrolled in eight (8) units or more are eligible to enroll in the plan each quarter. However, the following students are required to enroll in the plan or provide proof of comparable coverage by completing an online waiver by the add/drop date:

• Ph.D. Students residing in Southern California
• School of Psychology Students - Pasadena campus only

Failure to adhere to Fuller’s Health Insurance requirement to enroll or waive out by the waiver deadline will result in default enrollment and the insurance fee charged to the student account.

Students may enroll in the Fuller Theological Seminary Student Health Insurance Plan via the Fuller website, following the instructions are below. The insurance premium will be charged to your student account.

Steps To Enroll In The Medical Plan

1. Access your fuller.edu student account
2. Click on CURRENT STUDENTS
3. Select CURRENT STUDENTS HOMEPAGE
4. Click on the REGISTER FOR CLASSES module
5. Login to your Fuller student account
6. Click on STEP 4
7. Select Term (e.g., Fall 2025)
8. Select I want to purchase Fuller's student health insurance provided by AETNA PPO INSURANCE 
9. Check the box agreeing to be enrolled in the plan and to have the Student Health Insurance fees charged to your student account
10. If Dependent(s) will be enrolled, complete the Dependent Enrollment Form

Student Premium* - $63.59 per academic quarter (i.e., Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)

Dependent Premium -  $40.80 per academic quarter (i.e., Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)

You have the option to enroll in the dental plan offered by Fuller.  

This plan is a DHMO, which means you will need to identify an in-network provider to assign to your plan benefits.
