Enrolling in the Fuller-sponsored plan is not mandatory for Domestic students. However, the following students are required to enroll in the plan or provide proof of comparable coverage by completing an online waiver:
- Ph.D. Level Students
- School of Psychology Students-Pasadena campus only
- F1 & J1 International Students (online waiver is not available to International students)
Failure to adhere to Fuller’s Health Insurance requirement to enroll or waive out by the waiver deadline will result in default enrollment and the student account charged the insurance fee.
Masters-level students and students enrolled in other advanced degree programs are eligible to enroll in the medical plan as long as the 8 unit course requirement and Southern California residency requirement is met.
*Due to COVID-19, Aetna Insurance is temporarily offering student health insurance coverage to all Fuller students who meet the 8-unit per quarter course requirement for the 2022-2023 academic year. This includes online-only students and domestic students that reside outside of Southern California. Out-of-state domestic residents interested should contact the Student Health Insurance Department at [email protected] to complete the enrollment application. Please note the out of state coverage is subject to change as determined by Aetna Insurance.
